Charles Kent
.

Private Charles Kent, 6639, 1st Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment died aged 30.  He was killed in action in Flanders on Friday 23rd April 1915.

Private Charles Kent was born in Brandon, Suffolk and enlisted at Brandon, Suffolk.

Remembered with honour at NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

Killed In Action

 On Wednesday Mrs Kent, Stanley Row, Town Street, Brandon received a letter from the War Office saying that her husband had been killed in action.  Private Charles Kent, Yorks and Lancs Regiment, was killed on April 23rd April.  He was the son of Mr Robert Kent, Brandon.  He had only just married last July.
