Walter Dyer

This was reported by the Thetford and Watton Times, dated May 29^th 1915 ...

WOUNDED

– On May 18^th Mrs Dyer, Town Street, received a postcard from her husband, Private Walter Dyer, 1^st Leicestershire Regiment, stating that he had been wounded.  He had been wounded in the thigh and arm and was in the 5^th Southsea General Hospital, Portsmouth.  Mrs Dyer has a son, Private James Dyer, 1^st Suffolk Regiment, who has been missing since August 26^th.
