Wilfred Gerald Gillings

Private Wilfred Gerald Gillings, 25671, 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment, died aged 29.  He died of wounds inflicted at Flanders on Tuesday 15th May 1917.

Private Wilfred Gillings was the son of George and Frances Gillings, Brandon, Suffolk; husband of Maud Mary Gillings, Folly House, Ickburgh, Mundford, Norfolk.  He was born in Stratford St. Marys, Suffolk and enlisted at Brandon, Suffolk.

Remembered with honour at AUBIGNY COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Pas de Calais, France.
